Day 3 of our vacation we took a Ferry ride from Hong Kong to Macau via Turbo Jet which took us only about an hour's worth of travel. The travel was surprisingly smooth. When we got to the Macau's Ferry Terminal, we rode the free shuttle bus to our hotel.
*Most major hotels in the Old Macau and Cotai Strip provide free shuttle service for everyone even if you're not a hotel guest. Shuttle services go to different places, all for FREE so it's very easy to roam around Macau.
We got the fabulous view of the Venetian and the pool area from our room. We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel along Cotai Strip which was very convenient since everything you need is already there. The lobby connects to the Shoppes at Sands Cotai so there are restaurants, boutiques and a food court.
After freshening up we went down to grab a quick lunch at Mcdonald's. Check out this cute little kid who was playing with me while waiting for food. She even posed for me when she saw that I was taking a photo of her. Aww.
The Cotai Strip hotels had a thing going on with the Dreamworks characters so there was a parade for Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and How To Train Your Dragon. They also had a meet and greet place set up.
Sheraton Hotel is also connected to Conrad and Holiday Inn so the ground floor area is REALLY HUGE. Luckily, the bridge to the Venetian was very close to Sheraton's side.
We went to Venetian's side to shop and eat dinner. Had a wonderful tonkatsu curry (which I've been craving since I saw a photo in Hong Kong) and milk tea. It was a pretty boring day to blog since that was basically it. We didn't go anywhere and decided to call it a day early.
Isn't Sheraton's Check-in counter lovely? This is for the Earth Tower, the same tower we stayed it. The decorations obviously had a very "Earthy" feel to it. The lobby in general smelled nice too.
